His life was inert in a dungeon
Very eagerly waiting for the dawn.
Days were sluggish, night were nightmares,
Tension and loneliness brought his tears.
None was there with him to hold his hand,
So he kept lingering on the never ending sand.
He searched for someone who could help him out,
But all he did was scream, trot and shout.
He felt he was an animal trapped in a cage,
Deserving only hatred and never ending rage.
He could see his future as a dark gloomy night,
Before he saw a wonderful eternal light.
Like every murky night comes a bright day,
He saw something which he could never say.
With boundless thoughts going on in his mind,
He anticipated it to be a dream of some kind.
She was someone who bought back his smile,
And dragged his out of his savage exile.
She entered as a messenger and brought him a dream,
Her red cheeks and lovely face were not less than any cream.
His friends helped him in uniting them together,
She resembled a dove with soft white feathers.
He met his world, his prodigious pearl,
And his heart murmured “yaar yehi hai teri dream girl”.
He was very terrified of keeping any knot loose,
Still he had patience and always stayed in his shoes.
His possessiveness scared him when any other would budge near,
And this would instantly wet his eyes with crystal tears.
In his mind, every single memories flashed like a coil,
Whether he was in love or not was his vociferous turmoil.
One night he decided to speak to her,
Partly covering each other, in their cozy fur.
She was not ready for it so got him rejected,
His dreams were shattered and hopes ejected.
But they didn’t want each other lose,
So she settled the matter by giving some excuse.
His love for her went on mounting day by day,
But neither she, nor could he, express their gay.
They loved each other with their heart, mind and soul,
And could see the unconceivable world, in each other, as a whole.
One fine morning her hysteria took a bend,
And she explicitly stated for which she was sent.
That was the most wonderful moment for both of them,
And they were always elated, no matter who ever came.
One of the happiest moment was when he got her in his life,
It was because of his diligence and after surmounting the strife.
Days became hot and nights were short,
They loved each other on every possible plot.
Along with love they had innumerable abrupt spat,
Maximum was because of some bloody drunken brat.
Their hostile behavior brought excruciating pain,
And they swore not to talk ever again.
The next day they would retreat their ego with a truce,
Again fall in love and live in the dream of their cruise.
She always tried to keep him in overwhelming bliss,
And exchanged with him, her innumerable cordial kiss.
She was his angel without a halo,
His love for her was never going to be shallow.
They were always together and were never frozen,
When in their life came lot of bloody cozen.
He tried his best to keep her in bliss,
She should be with him was his only wish.
“I care for you inexplicably, fulfill your expectation is what I can try,
Pardon me for all my blemishes and the moments I made you cry.”
Whenever he was in trouble, she effortlessly made him cure,
He could never get a heartthrob like her so pure.
Her endless beauty, caressing touch and intense love made him strong,
That he got all the supernatural power and fought with every throng.
But like every colorful day comes the murky dark night,
Things became sour and nothing went right.
He convicted her on every tiff, and endlessly made her cry,
He wept too but never did he answered to any of her pry.
Pandora’s Box made them realize why ‘Love is called the greatest pain’,
The girl comprehended that he no more loved her, but she couldn’t do the same.
He wept, she wept and one day they parted their lane,
She decided to die, before loving anyone again.
The boy missed her and the moments with loads of chatter,
No words could portray her and this is not a flatter.
Days passed, months passed still she wept alone,
Till one day when she reluctantly decided to stopover his home.
His mother answered “coffin is the place where her enamored soul lies,
Leaving us all alone, but still loving us from the paradise.
He knew that the inevitable disease would bring him a lethal death.
So he decided to go away by breaking her love & faith”.
She was in trance followed by convulsion and fell down on the floor,
Every day she wept untiringly, waiting for him on the shore.
Numbness encompassed her and none could enliven her or exhilarate.
She turned misanthrope, filled with sorrow, hate and regret.
Her excruciating distress kept on augmenting day by day,
Until one morning when she imbibed a virulent poison and fell in the bay.
